Don't make the same stupid mistake.
This is going to sound stupid...but I hope it helps stop anyone else from doing the same thing. A few days ago I took my back seat headrests off to see how well they would fit under the seat when the seat was folded down; when I reinstalled the head rests, I accidently put the right one on the left side and the left one on the right side. Now the drivers side back seat headrest will not go all the way downand worst of all ...it WILL NOT come off! (Right side will come off) Help please<---(magic word?)

I don't have a Screw yet, so this isn't from experience, but I've read about this problem on another post where people put them back on backwards (I think). I remember something about using a paper clip in a little hole on the post to free it. See if that works. Also, do a search in this Message Board for posts about headrests, etc. Maybe you can find the article. Hope that helps...

I did it too and posted a warning and a fix as newtruck has mentioned. Make sure it is a STOUT HD paper clip, and keep at it you will get it .

I almost made the same mistake. As a thought, maybe it would be worthwhile to mark the back of the headrest with a sticker or with a marker to help us remember which way to install it.

I remembered a post like this from a while back. Short answer was use a big paperclip. Here was the thread:
