If you got the tow package, check to make sure they gave you the correct radiator. They have been putting in the standard radiator in many instances instead of the heavy duty. The radiator core should be 1.42" thick for heavy duty.

WOW!!!! I've hardly been out of it =)

My girlfriend and I have been in it just about nonstop since yesterday... It is great. I love having her right there next to me as I drive ;-p

One issue - there was a fairly serious ding on the passenger door (the thin black metal panel directly to the back of the window). Luckily it seems it is an easily removable piece and the dealer has already ordered the replacement.

I did my best to fend off the financial guy's "extras" but broke down and ended up getting the real alarm system ($350) and the ext/int 5 year care deal ($250).

Got the $500 cash back, plus another $400 college grad rebate, and the 6.9% financing (which was cool, didn't know if I'd qualify on my own).

Hopefully I'll have time to wash the truck tomorrow, it's fairly filthy since I wouldn't let the dealer wash it!!!

Put the Husky liners in at the dealership, they fit perfect and look good with the graphite interior. For some reason I was remembering the leather as being darker from my test drives, but it still looks good.

The bed rug hasn't come in yet, and the airforce FIPK should be here soon so hopefully I can get those and the sweptside in next weekend or so.

The dealer had a 2001 L sitting in the showroom, and the taillights look SO good in person... I can't wait for mine to arrive!

OK, time to go drive!!!!!!

Glad to hear you love it!! I'm hoping I will get a call from the dealer on Monday or Tuesday. We did have the same build date so she should be somewhere around here.

Can you explain what the int/ext care plan is?

Also, on the college grad rebate, I finishing up on another 2 year degree. Does the dealer need to see something from the college.

no pics yet... soon!!! it has been raining nonstop since i got the truck so at least most of the dust has washed off... the truck looks really good. I love it!

i will get my camcorder out and take some shots tomorrow evening hopefully... the int/ext thing is that 5 year care deal they do where they add some mix to the clearcoat that's supposed to keep things looking good for 5 years, same on the leather. wasn't totally sold on it but it was factoring into the financing for $10/mo so I figured what the hell...

haven't gotten the exhaust installed yet and the bedrug hasn't come in yet, but i have to say that the husky liners have already shown more than their worth... all the rain and mud tracked in after my gf's rugby game is sitting on the mats instead of the rugs which are tucked safe away in my garage =)

god i love this truck.
