Just ordered a set of Rancho RSX's.

Can't wait for them to get here!

The prices are too good pass up right now... While I can't say specifically what I paid, I can say that it was between $147.94 and $147.96 SHIPPED! Well, free shipping...

I'll post up more when I get 'em on!

Later,
Chris

Where?

I have been thinking on doing the same. That price would would cause me to whip it out............the card that is.

I thought the FX4 came with Ranchos straight from factory.

rajuncajun37 Apr 18, 2004 10:52 PM

They come with SPECIAL Ranchos made just for Ford,

some call them Fake Ranchos

ReelWork Apr 19, 2004 02:52 PM

Rancho's...

Those shocks on FX4's are NOT Ranchos.... They are rancho branded and made to Ford's specs. I think that says it all right there. No current factory shock will ever meet the aftermarket shocks, regardless of what it's labeled..

As for where, a place called Sams, not Sams/Costco but Sam's offroad. Do a google search using Rancho and Sams - you'll find it no problem..

That's exactly why I got them, the price was just right! :rocker:

Reel,

Originally I bought them because I just thought they were nifty with the adjustable settings but turns out they actually make quite a difference. They definitely make a huge difference at higher speeds on curvy roads as there is much less lean and bounce. There's a varying difference on turns too depending on which of the 9 settings you choose.

Match that with an anti-sway bar and you're good to go. I've had the rear Hellwig for almost a year now and still haven't installed it :p. I just didn't like how the bar was dip painted instead of spray painted and painting it is a real pain in the rear. I think I'm on the 10th coat now.. or something.

Thanks...

Hey Guys, I got the RSX's not the 9 way adjustables. I almost bought the adjustable. These are the comparable model to the Edelbrock IAS. Anyways....

Mike - Yeah, I have heard and read about the rear shock... I'll get it though... Thanks for the heads up!

Lean - that's my biggest gripe about the ones I have is the bounce factor. Some people post they love the stock ride. I don't think it is all bad, but it does need to be tamed a little...

Thanks,
Chris
