How to change climate control indication from F to C?

Hi there, I got a quick question for y'all. I just got a new 03 supercrew and my climate control indication is in degrees F, I'd like to change it to degrees C. Can anyone here tell me how to do this?

Sure...

You push the black button and it will change from Celsius/off/Farenheit... It's right next to the indicator...

Is this a troll?

Being that this is your first post and all, tell a little about yourself.

Forget that metric crap!

It's unamerican! Leave it on Farenheit.

that won't work with the auto temp control...

I know it can be done, when I got my truck it was in Celsius... If you have the temp on the overhead console, you can change it that way, but if your temp reading is on the auto temp gauge in the dash like mine, there is no button to push. I think if you hold the OUTSIDE TEMP button it might change it but I dunno.

Maybe I should have been a bit more specific, the indication is on auto temp gauge in the dash and there is no black button to press. I have accessed the owner's manual and found nothing, and I've tried holding the outside temp button but that didn't work, hence my post here. Is there anyone here who can help?

Thanks is advance.

jedman,

I just re-read my post and it appears I came across as a smart-azz....that was not my intention, and I apologize.

I know there is a way to change the numbers, trouble is I just don't know how....lol.....maybe a visit to the dealer will help....keep us posted.

a new '03 SCrew?

Make the dealer do it for you, maybe the sales reptile. Make him/her work for that commission check!

I have the owner's manual in PDF for 03 F-150's. Page 41 gives an instruction for temperature conversion which I asusme does so fo both the climate control and outside display.

Temperature conversion: Press the MAX A/C and DEF at the same time (for one second) to switch between Fahrenheit and Celsius. The English/Metric (E/M) control on the trip computer and message center (if equipped) will not change temperature display.
