Who's got 20's or 22's
 

Hey all,
I FINALLY got my new Screw (been trying for 3 months, hard to sell an '02 Dodge Dakota). I got the '03 4x2, 5.4L, Dark Shadow Gray, chrome running bars, etc. It is beautiful and I friggin love it. Scrw the Dodge's, never again will I own one.

So I want to put some wheels and tires on but don't really see many pics on here of stuff you all have done. I am thinking of putting on Boss 301's 20x8.5 with 50 series tires. If anyone has these and can post pics that would be sweet. I also want to see some 22's, if I don't lower the truck then the 20's might not be enough. IF you got 'em, flaunt 'em.

I've looked through there and there are some 20's and such, but not many. I was hoping there are some more of you out there waiting to post some pics of your dubs. Looks like for the most part people on this site are into raised trucks with bigger tires. I love that too but I had troubles with the ride and squeaking on my last suspension lift and don't want to mess with it anymore. That is why I am thinking leave the suspension stock and put on 20's with 50 series for a custom look and to fill the gap.
So if there are more of you out there, show me something. Brag a little...

I haven't seen many lifted or with larger tires other than the ones in the link I gave you, but you could try over at the Wheel and Tire forum...

Hey krix, did you ever get the stock Supercrew suspension for your front end? Did that solve the rubbing issue?

I actually went with a set of Spring Spacers and did new Bilstiens while i was at it.

Worked out perfect, and my wheel gap is maybe 1/2" less then your close up pic that time.. it looks great.

The shocks were by far the best investment.. the chitty stock ones could be compressed by hand!!

So no more rubbing issues at all. :beers:
