Stupid question about the right Plugs

Ive done some thread searching but could not find the right or postive answer to the right spark plug to get. When I took the truck to my tuner about a year ago he said never to get IR or hotter plugs. So I got the cheap auto lights one heat IT range cooler. I have a after cooled V-1 on the truck with a bunch of other mods. I have bad hesitation when just lightlen steping on it,and it stumbles from time to time. Under WOT its fine at least thats what I think. I did see in the older threads that auto lite and bosch are the worst to run. Why didnt my tuner tell my to changed them out before i ran them????
Any ways can some one tell me what i should use along with the brand name and part number. Thanks John

I have used the Denso IT20's and NGK TR6's at .030. Good results with both. Densos are overpriced, imo.

Cool guys thanks for the great input. I recognize the Auto lite #103's as the ones I installed in the truck a year ago. I wonder if I gapped them incorrectley? I think I gapped to .035 but not positive. So the NGK TR6 is a regular plug right and if it has a IX its an Ir plug so there are 2 varients of the TR6 ? Im just trying to do what my tuner Jay said to do in the past and not run hot plugs. Im sure there is some kind of reasoning behind this. maybe it has something to do with his tune. Nonetheless thanks a million One low and Tarajerame. John

I run the tr6's in mine and never had a issue, ~17bucks at O'reilys . I experimented with a set of NGK race plugs for a while they seemed about the same as the tr6's.
