Centrifugal, Roots, and The Transmission
 

Just some thoughts. Anyone feel free to jump in anytime...

I have a 5.4 Screw. Obviously this is a heavy vehicle. The tranny in my machine is a 4r70 I believe. How much HP/Torque can the 4R70 really take? A supercharger that takes you close to 400HP would have to be murder on that tranny...

Obviously a roots type would be more harsh than the centrifugal type...

Level 10 makes a kit that replaces most every part inside the tranny to make it "bulletproof". Is this something to put in the truck at the time the supercharger goes in?
