rebuilding SC but want to use the truck

Hello, its been a while since I've been on here. I need to rebuild my Procharger and anticipate it being off for a little while and would still like to have use of my truck. Do you guys think its possible to put a bypass tube piece in place of the SC and return the truck to stock tune and still be functional?

I would talk to whoever is doing rebuild. Get estimate on down time. See if expedited service is available and consider renting a cheap car. Long run could be easier and cheaper ln the long run rather than risk messing something up

I have run mine without a belt for quite a while with no ill effects. BUT, mine was tuned for the blower and 42 lbs injectors. No boost a pump.

Mine is tuned for the system as well with larger injectors. I think I will try it but maybe have my laptop hooked up to see what going on while its off. I was't sure if someone had done this already, so I thought I would ask. Thats a lot of tubing for the engine to naturally breath through
Thanks

You can't do it. It won't run right and probably run rich. You'll burn up your cats and cause a host of other problems... Previous recommendation to rent a car was a good choice. Or you public transit
