Question Turbo questions

All,

I am going to slowly fabricate a turbo setup for my 4.6 because there is nothing out there. It is going to be a junkyard setup but I cant figure out a good car to pull a turbo from. My stats are below if you can help me out.

281 CI
227 CFM @ 5.5k RPM
With all the calculations I am looking at
41.284 lb/min @100% eff
35.09 lb/min @ 85%
PR 1.476

I have been looking at all the maps I can find but I am always WAY low and right. Any FI gods out there help me out?

Like I said I am going to slowly se this up. I have a Gryphon so I am going to get with Bill at PHP and see if he can get me a conservative tune to get me started.

Yep, more maps.

T66 on up starts looking better. I have no idea what vehicle would have one. The junk yard lists show small turbos/engines.

most if not all factory turbo charged cars have small motors which means small turbos. if you want a turbo from a junk yard, your going to need two. even the diesel guys run small turbos stock. my buddy has an 6.0L 05 f250 and the turbo on his truck is the same size as i run on my mustang....but i run two of them.
