Im not sure what i want. Its an everyday driver. Drives in winter and summer. Help me out. its an F-150 5.4L

 

Wait till the 9th, Marc goin to be there, and he has a roush S/C on his truck. You'll get to see and hear it first hand.

 

STS is the only turbo kit ready made for our trucks and the turbo mounts under the truck in place of the muffler, not a good idea in our neck of the woods. So basically, a S/C that mounts under the hood is a better choice, and there are several off the shelf kits available.

If you want the most power and torque then go with a custom single turbo setup. If you want to just bolt something in and go then look for a supercharger. The turbo setup will cost more upfront but the overall cost/performance ratio is about the same if not a little in favor of the turbo depending on how you go.

for a DD I'd go with a vortech or procharger

 

For a daily drive I would go with a Roush or Whipple.
