Thanks bud, I think the new hardware looks cool. This last weekend I installed a decent stereo into a 92 toyota
standard cab. For what he paid is sounded pretty dam good. It's that time of year and everyone one wants to upgrade.
I'll be working on another show car in the next couple of weeks and I have 2 other cars to get done before that. Keeping
busy is good for me and keeps me out of trouble. lol

So I ordered more of the same hardware. The engine bay on these trucks is pretty bland and thought these would spice it up a little bit. I also dit the Resevoir and cruize control mounts. I'm still contemplating a supercharger kit, I'm trying to justify the cost. It's brand new polished... It's killin' me..lol

Thanks Pat. Yesterday I ordered my Kenwood double din deck. I've been putting it off for a while but now I have someone to
buy the single din DVD I have in now. I also installed the back up camera yesterday. While the dash is apart I'm going to replace
the shifter because the boot is ripped and I can't stand it..lol I messaged Sport machines Because I've been wanting the
SVT 03 lighting wheels, in ingot silver. I have to many sets of wheels..lol I have the full set of SVT 18's with almost brand new tires
I have the Centerline stingray III's and the ones on the truck now. I need to sell them but when I put them on craigslist people want
people try to cut me down to 2-300 bucks. Hell the 18's tires cost 800 and they only have about a 1000 miles on them. I have a crap
load of things I want to still do, just taking my time.

A couple of days ago I diced and sliced the dash. I used a cordless plunge cutter and it made the whole thing rather easy. If I knew it was that easy I would of done it a long time ago. While I was there I replaced the shifter because of a torn boot and cleaned up some of my other wiring and added a circuit to handle my center console, IE. 9 inch monitor, charge port and lighting. Everything went well and works perfect. I made wrap around labels for all the wiring and added a back up camera. The higher voltage on the RCA's made a huge difference for the better. I think it looks like that's the way it came from the factory.

Here's a couple of things I've got done on top of my own Mods.
The first 2 are a box I built for a 92 standard cab toyota truck. I installed a Kicker 125.2 and a 500.1 .
Polk DXI 6.5's and a set of Polk DB1001 Tweeters. Needless to say it was loud and clear.
These are pics of a 92 Mustang GT with a crazy 600 hp motor and full custom interior. All I did was fix 3 shorts and moved his mid's and high's amp from under the passenger front seat to the back. I had to fix a broken speaker terminal and a couple of new wires. One of his speaker wires was full of green corrosion. He had all infinity Kappa. He wants me to do a full new install due to the crap a shop did. Double din stereo and all new wire, speakers and a much better sub woofer set up.
Here's a shot of the back of mine getting ready to a show on Saturday.

Finally got the tonneau cover carpeted. I had a friend come over and helped me pull it off and
flip it to make the install relatively easy. I have no idea what took me so long to do it..lol
When these get installed the front seal as little if any sealing area because the head of the bed
is about 1.25 inches at best. When the hinge points are mounted to it there is maybe a 1/4 inch
of seal touching it. I remedied this by installing an aluminum edge metal to the top of the bed
and basically made the top edge about an 1.25 or so wider. I also installed a new 1.5 inch double
bubble seal I also installed a tailgate seal. Now theres no more daylight at the front of the tonneau
cover and everything should stay dry.

I went to a car show last weekend. I drove 2 hours to get to it. I had a lot of people come by asking lots of questions. It was pretty chill and the atmosphere was a positive one. Not what I'm used to, where I live everyone's nose is up their asses. To get to the point I showed off the stereo a bit and ended up with half the crowd coming over and to take pictures and videos. It was at that point I realized that the RMS rating on the JBL's is accurate as they were choking up pretty good and I was only at half volume. It was pretty freaking loud though and box sounded perfect. The JBL's are rated at 350 RMS and I thought that was a type O but it's not. Good thing is, They were just laying around getting dusty before I installed them. The Subs in the cab are Kicker Comp R 12's so I thought after what happened at the car show I better upgrade. I got a great deal on Kicker Comp R 15's and I'm waiting for them to come in so I can get them installed. They are rated at 800 RMS which will be a much better fit due to the fact that the birth sheet on my amps is a little over 1500 RMS. The box is 3.25 QF per sub in a single chamber ported to around 35 HZ. I will post up Pics of the change out once they come in.

Well the new Kickers came in the other day. I had originally ordered 40cwr154's and they sent me 43cwr154's.
I'm not complaining at all as the ones they sent me are the upgraded series. The front subs are close to the front
of the bed so in order to change them out I had to pull the tonneau cover. Replacement was easy and went without
a hitch. I took a few pictures but forgot to take one of the magnets side by side. There is a huge difference between
the two. The kicker magnets were close to double the size and weight. The voice coils on the kickers is an inch bigger
and the leads are woven into the spider and the JBL's were not. The subs are Kicker comp R's and match the
subs in the cab now. Things have gone full circle for me. My first competition show truck had 2 x 12's and 4 x 15's
all Kicker comp R's close to 25 years ago. Life is good!
