Change in tire size, 22's w/2/6 Drop.
Currently running 305/40/22's.
Looking for opinions on whether i should downsize cause im planning to go an inch lower up front. Im confused when it comes to tire sizes because i keep hearing too big or too small. My tires dont rub at all now due to offset of the wheels and bump stops in the rear. Any suggestions on tire size, planning on being 3/6 within the next month. Main reason im concerned about the 305/40 is cause when i go an inch lower upfront, i dont want any issues. Cardomain below for pics of the truck. I know this has been covered a couple times, ive searched and the mixed reviews got me confused. |
Look into a 285-40-22 I personally don't understand why people run such a wide tire on a truck that's lowered.

I run a 305/40-22 and it is not too wide for my rim. Thin band aid tires look horrible on large trucks.

No I just think of a 305 or something along those lines as a 4x4 tire. You know what they say different strokes for different folks. Lol
|
That's utterly ridiculous logic!
If it's a 305 in a 33" or a 35" tall tire, but not a 31.6" tall tire. |
You get what im talking about lol
|
So you blackball all low profile 305's as off road tires?
|
No I just don't care for my tires to balloon out past the wheel I like my tire flush with the wheel. Oh well lol
|
Mine don't do that. It's all about the rim width.
