2/4 with 22's
2/4 with 22's
I just ordered my 22's...I am looking to do a 2/4, will this be enough of a drop..also what size tires should I run...and what kind of price am i looking at if i wanted to get my f150 bagged? thanks and sorry for all the ?s im new at the lowering stuff...my truck is an 07 f150 2wd...thanks for any info
with 22's you could run a 265/45 and you'd be ok. it's easier to run a 265/35 and bag it though. $3000-$4000 seems about right for a custom setup. i think the bolt on bag kit may run you about $4500 with installation

285/40/22's tucks lip front and rear.......
when you added the ground force shackles to the eibach leafs...did you also use the eibach shackles or just ground force....and did you add the shims or not to the leafs for the correct pinion angle.....one last question...did you cut your eibach bump stops???
Hows the ride quality? i have the same drop and its killin me(too bouncy) in the rear and i have the eibach shocks. im thinkin of going to the the next lower notch on the shackles to see if it does anything and if not im gonna sell the whole lowering kit and maybe go with a 6" lift and some 20's
looks sweet but the ride sucks

I think it's the eibach leaf springs. Mine are stiff as hell. I'm thinking of going with different springs, maybe GF 4" drop leafs but they're so darn expensive.
Sucks, stock leafs are too soft and eibach leafs are too stiff.

there's a pefectly good solution for that. it may be a little tricky because the stock leaf pack is so big, but i did it on the front end of my father's 64. Pull every other leaf out of the pack. Take the 2nd or 3rd leaf down from the main leaf, and flip it over, opposing the natural curve of the pack, and suck it all together with some clamps and the centering pin. It'll allow the pack to be lower, and it'll still have some capacity because of the opposing pressure.
