Best way to wire subs

series or parallel? I have a sony amp with two 10 inch subs (4 ohms) in a box I made myself in a regular cab. Thanks in advance.

Depends on a couple of things..... series will give you 8 ohms, parallel will give you 2 ohms load for the amp. If your amp is 2 ohm mono stable and your subs can handle the wattage, wire in parallel mono. If not wire 1 sub to each channel (assuming the amp is a 2 channel) to present the amp with a 4 ohm stereo load. 8 ohm(series in your case) is not recommended in most situations. The higher the impedence(ohms) of the load(subs) that you present to the amp, the lower the output (watts) of the amp.
