Taking door panels off an 01f150
 

How do you remove the door panels to gain access to the speakers and how do you run speaker wire to speakers in the door?

first pop off the bezel around the inner door handle. there are 2 screws behind this panel. there are also 3 screws one the bottom of the door panel. next, remove the window switch bezel by pulling upward on the front part of the housing. it will pop right out. once all these steps are done, take the entire door panel and simply raise straight up and your done.

as far as the speaker wires being passed in the doors, i did this in my 2001 supercrew and it a real mother *********r. have the bandaids ready... remove the kickpanels and pass the wires through the door boots and into the doors. its not that bad, but the left front will take you as long as the other 3 combined.
