Your thoughts on the PAC AmpPRO 4 AP4-FD21

Just bought a new to me 2014 Platinum. Like many of yall I feel the sound system needs improvement. Been doing a lot of searching for the last few days. There are many different ways to hack into a sound system. Some like the JL audio twk, fix etc, Audio Control DSPs or other brands and the basic line converters etc etc. I'm leaning towards the PAC AmpPRO. What's yalls opinion of it? Is it is simple as it looks and function well?

Well there's that 5 billion dollar Alpine unit. I would consider changing the headunit (affordable) but I haven't found a unit that will turn on my cooled seats other than the Alpine. For some reason there's no factory button for it. Nevertheless no matter what you do seems like it'll require some sort of harness and or module to make things work right.
