Enclosure Build For 7lug

Hey guys, been a while since ive posted, but thought i share a build im doing for a fellow member (7lug)

Started on it today, only was able get a little done. The specs are shooting for 1.25-1.3 net per sub and tuning to 31 hz. The subs of choice are the new 10" Skar Audio 10's. should be a nice little setup! These will seat under the seat in a 2004 Supercab with a LMI seat lift.

Subs, well one of them atleast

Wood Lol

And the little start i got, much more progress to show tomorrow!

Nice, a pair of ported 10s should be nice.

How well are the Skars built? They sorta look like IDMax knockoffs...

Can't wait to see this done. Getting ready to build a seat lift for mine. And then a new enclosure. Very curious on how this will sound.

With an EQ and some cut around 40hz, it will have very good SQ!

Huh...cut at 40hz? Actually throughout the entire frequency range, an EQ will probably have the least affect on the substage

Depends on the EQ and the number of bands, but I have an RF 3Sixty.2 and it made a nice difference in my sub setup. Yours will still be nice w/o any adjustment tho

No you're right, an EQ can (and in your case does) have a good effect on subs. I will be running the Pioneer DSP, but more for time alignment and overall tunability

But I was kinda confused about the "cut at 40hz".. what did you mean?
