yea I was thinking it was particle board too from the photos. But then I looked online at MDF and particle board pics and they looking very similar in photos for some reason.

I would be really worried about that particle board falling apart on you with the slightest bit of moisture. I understand you gotta use what you can get up there in freezerland, but see if you could get a hold of some fiberglass resin. I would soak that entire box inside and out with some resin to help keep it together. IF possible throw some glass mat on it too. It would also help make the box a bit more dense since particle board isnt really well known for density

Yeah the guys at leather shop are actually using a fiber glass type wrap and something else to help seal and make it stronger. They do a **** load of custom interior so i trust that they will hook it up. But yeah Alaska is the best place in the world to live until you need something no one has and then it stinks.
