2 kicker L7 12's under the seat... possible?

Friend of mine had two kicker l7 12's in his 02 f150 and i was wondering if it was possible to run this in an 04 supercrew with a seat lift? Right now im running two pioneer 12's in a ported box (lil over 3 ft. cubic air space) and had a local shop make me a 3" seat lift. If anyone knows of this same set up let me know or point me in the direction cause im really curious. thanks

Anything is possible, but I have to ask are the L7s going to be ported too? And why L7s?

how in the heck did you squeeze 3 cubes out under the reat seat? I'm having a custom ported box designed for a 10 and on the long side I am able to get right at 1.55cf.

Pics Please! {EDIT)...ah never mind I found your photo gallery.

If you're designing boxes like that why not just yank the back seat out and go wild?

Not very friendly to the ears either...L7s sounds like complete ass.

i had 2 pioneer 12" premier but they were the slim ones
they sound great and you don't need a lot of space to make the box
like on the pics. lol

well when the box was made i figured if someone was riding in the back seat then they are getting a free ride anyway so forgett them, i still wanted a back seat tho (suprisingly a lot of people ride back there). but it came down to 3 subs: JL w7, kicker l7, and the memphis mojo. weighing the price, sound quality and overall loudness i chose the l7. the l7 i can also fit 2 12's and still keep my back seat... maybe. some people say they are not clean but from what i have experienced they are pretty nice and rediculously loud. I think kicker's flaw in the l7 is that they only hit hard on really low notes but after listening to 2 12's in another truck, they are kinda growin on me. new thought just came to me tho, strip the seat of the leather and padding and build a box that will mimic a seat and then re-install the padding and leather. only problem is im not sure if i have enough room behind the back seat to squeeze the amp i need. id like to port the box but im not sure if i have that much room.

I've heard good things about the Memphis subs. Not any particular models though. I really like to go for the non-mass produced speakers. They tend to have more focus on quality than quantity. -ie Memphis

Thats unfortunate considering the L7s are so friggin sloppy and the W7 can blend while playing easily up to 100 Hz and above and still be very loud if needed. Go listen to some W7s (or other comparable options) before you make this mistake. And FYI if you port the L7s they wont "hit hard" on "really low notes" because with your limited space you will have to tune it higher resulting in reduced output at lower frequencies.

4 BMs would be louder and cost less and fit better and sound 932487346530 times better.

But i think you are just in it for the rap boom so whatever do as you please.

if your going through the trouble, get good subs, l7 in the cab cant sound that great, in a big trunk at least some of the distortion gets lost before it hits ur ears..

awesome truck!!! but total lyer.... I dont know if you were kiddin or not but 200 db with subs has not been achieved yet.... 181 db is the record soo far and i would not do sony xplodes.... too cheap... go with some kicker CVRs or some in the kicker name i absolutely love them!

u know big isnt always the way to go...get the seat lift and sum hevy hitting 10"s and it will sound way better..i made a big mistake of stuffing shallow 12's under my truck and i dont regret it, but when i get new subs im goin with 2 solid 8's or 1 solid hitting 10...ever heard of Fi? RE audio? those other SpL brands..i would check out memphis too just like impact9 said
