Anybody here heard Steve Meade's stuff in person ???

He lives in the Sacramento area of Nor Cal.

I've really been wanting to go get a demo of his 20Kwt Tahoe, or Chickens 30Kwt Caddy..... But not sure how, when, or where to hook up...

Anyway, just wondering if any of you guys have heard his "over-the-top" creations in person ? ....and if so, how would you describe those systems to us mear mortals ?

Peace,
Fish

PS, I'm impressed by how many mids / highs he uses + sound processors and such. I'd be curious if he could back off on the bass just a touch, and still play very loud, but "balanced" music ?

I know a lot of people think the guys crazy.... But if I had the $$$, I'd do that kind of stuff in a split second ;-)
More Power = More fun :-)

Hey mcr, thank you for that link.

Of course I've seen all that stuff, but for anyone that hasn't.... or wondered why I would post something, singling out one individual > that's why ! The dudes creations are just rediculous.

And I'll tell you what else; Even if a person were not into REALLY loud sound systems, SM's knowledge obviously goes WAAAY beyond just that. I think if somebody said, hey I want a really full, balanced, clean sound system, and I only need a thousand watts or so, I really believe he could build that too.

He just goes crazy with all that wattage because 1) that's what he enjoys, and 2) because he can ;-)

Anybody ?

Fish

Im with you. yea, he's a youtube icon...(much like Kimbo haha) but he is VERY knowledgable. Im live in florida now and am awaiting the day that he may want to come here for a car show or something haha. If I had the oppurtunity to have him build something for me...I probally wouldnt even have a chance because Im sure he charges out the a$$ but you would be getting quality equipment and craftmanship. I didnt know if you knew this or not but he drives a 04+ body style f150 (guessing for his "work" truck). He did a VERY good how to video on installing HID's. check it out sometime. tube it.

Right on. Thanks for the replies.

Like I have said, even if a person wasn't into super over the top car stereos, they still couldn't knock the guys knowledge, and passion.

It's like, I could not care less about golf, but I know Tiger is the man, and I respect him for that.

Peace,
Fish

Hey Abervitage, yea', I read that too.......

And uh.... Isn't that the same thing I was talking about 1 month ago, when a few forum guys were clowning me a little (about keeping a vibrator under the seat LOL But I have to say, my local friends were even more ruthless (what are good friends for, right ?

Anyway, I guess SM has earned a lot of respect in the car stereo world..... and rightfully so.

His new system is going to be nucking futs !

Peace,
Fish
