These components any good?

I don't know much about components? Only reason I ask, is because I could get an amp for the speakers I have, and it would also work with those?

Tell us more about your amp. It is always good to pair amps with speakers.

What speakers do you have?
I really know nothing about the speakers you link to above.

Go with 6.5s most definitly if you are doing components. And stay away from infinity.

Oh okay. What brands are good with components? Pioneer? Polk or what? And when you hook them up to an amp, do you connect them just like I would an amp to the speakers I have?

Ya i can tell you those infinitys are horrible. Made all kinds of weird crackling noises. I replaced them with some rainbows and a cadence amp and couldn't be happier. So much clearer and crisper.
