W1's for W3's
I currently have 2 JL 10W1's. But want more. I am seriously thinking of selling my w1's for w3's. I found a buyer for the w1's already. The only problem is weather or not it will fit in my sub box under the seat. I want to keep the box and everything, and have a 500/1 JL amp so everything else is good. I just dont know if the subs will fit. If the box is to shallow, do they have a spacer type thing that you put inbetween the sub and the box to add depth?

unless the box has alot of extra mounting depth than the w1's then i doubt it

Fairly minimal difference between those woofers. Unless the switch is costing you nearly nothing I wouldn't do it.
As for mounting depths, go to www.jlaudio.com and look around. They typically have a substantial amount of info on all of their products available via PDF. :beers: |
