My downgrade update. lol

What's up guys? Long time, huh? lol

I see our thread is no longer active. Oh well (refer to my qoute down below).

Anyway, so...I have sold everything...it was hard. I'm still unsure what I will replace it with. I have a couple of things:

Alpine SPX-177a (brand new in the box)
Zapco 350.2 (brand new in the box)

I'll probably sell the set of SPX-177a...I'm looking at couple other sets.

I'm also looking at the Alpine iDA-X001 HU (I got the iPhone and an iPod now). What's holding me back is it is the 1st run, but I do like how it bypasses iPods processing and uses the HU's processing. Should make the nasty little compressed pieces sound somewhat decent. lol Of course, I will have to buy another H701....I don't think I can live without one of those. Plus, the C701 would look cool under the iDA in the double din spot (not that I would need it).

Substage...everyone is probably wondering about. Well, me too. This is my short list:

IDQ12 V.2
BM12 $170 shipped each, hard to pass that up.

I'm looking for another Zapco 350.2 or 500.1 depending which sub and if single or dual subs.

I'm in no rush I guess.

Hello again there stranger! I assume you've seen what SI is coming out with here soon. The new proto BM10's look insanely deep and the new mag is ungodly massive. I have my doubts this next gen of SI subs will fit in our trucks like the current models do. Anyways good to see you're still kicken!

Hey Bry Whats been goin on?

The thread is long gone...with you, D, Smitty, and Nothin barely on here anymore I guess it was just me talking to myself in there

So what, about 3 months before you sell the downgraded setup and upgrade bigtime??

Should make the nasty little compressed pieces sound somewhat decent.
Apple Lossless Ive even been considering a big Ipod now using all Apple Lossless files on it. And I hate Ipods...but, CD quality and still only about 60% the space of a usual .cda file...I likey.

Hey now, I am still here every day posting when I can help

Good to hear from you Bryan. I like your sub choice although I might throw the new V3 IDQ in there as well. It is suppose to be better than the V2. They are saying ID output with IDQ SQ.

Hey guys!

Yeah, the truck has just been sitting for about a month now...it's all torn apart inside. Need to decide what I'm going to do.

The IDQ V.3 is out of the question...they will be sold at MRSP, which I'm not willing to spend.

The other BIG thing is...not keeping the truck. I've looked at a few other vehicles and talked it over with the wife. I've come to the conclusion that I want a modern muscle car. I'm seriously looking at the Shelby GT500 and Dodge Challenger. It wont be until early to mid next year before I buy (I got other obligations, if you know what I mean). The GT500 is hard to find at MRSP right now and not sure about the Challenger...have to wait and see.

With the new explorer in place and the old focus (which will be swapped out with an older F150 or Ranger) I open it up for some muscle. The biggest PLUS is the wife digs the idea of a hotrod and is all for it. lol

The new GT500 or Challenger will be a garage baby!!!!

Ok...wait a minute.

You downgraded to get a little money...but you might spend WAY more money than you save on downgrading on a new car??

I dont know if Im confused or if you are

Man it's to bad you live in CA. There's a gt500 in Edenton,NC that they are selling below MSRP. They ordered it for someone and he changed his mind so it just sits. They had it inside w/ a rope around it for a while but now it's sitting outside.

Actually, I downgraded to sell the truck, then I started looking at other vehicles. I think it's a mid life crisis. lol

What color is it? Is it a '07 or '08 (prolly '07, if it's been ordered and just sitting for a while). I'm not ready to buy, but I'm sure I can get it sold if you are FOR SURE they will sell it under MRSP, maybe even at MRSP.

No need to worry about it being in a different state, saving that much money the new owner would be happy to pay for a transport.
