installing 51/4's, 6x7's
 

I have a f150 2007 supercab
interested in installing 51/4's(45 w rms, 135 w peak), and 6x7's 220w
is this possible without doing any custom work...how do I access the speakers in the doors and rear?

You'll have to buy or make adapters for the 5 1/4's. On my front doors I just popped the pannel off that covered the speakers w/ a small screw driver. I can't help w/ the rear I have a screw and had to remove the whole door panel.

I used the Scosche SA68 adapters from kcautosound.com along with some DB Drive Platinum 5 1/4" components and 5x7 coaxials. The adapters fit perfectly to hold the woofer and then all was needed was to trim the tweeter hole about a 1/8" to hold the larger tweeter. I stuck the crossover in the hole under the window switches.

Last time I talked to him he mentioned that DB Drive was doing a closeout on last years speakers and he ordered a bunch of their components. I don't see them on sale on his site but I'd hit him up and see what deals he has going on. I can say I love the sound of mine. I ran them off of the factory headunit at first then I upgraded to a new radio. Now I run an amp on them and they now sound even more amazing.
