Blaupunkt Velocity series speakers are awesome. got mine installed this past weekend. the basket is bigger than most speakers so it took some modification to fit 6x9s in where i had sony 6x9s previously.

got them amped off of a 250 watt sony. they are very clear. don't have the lpf on but the basses are still very clear and add a bit of extra bump. nothing like a sub, but just that little bit extra that the stock and sonys were having a hard time producing. id highly reccomend these. got mine from crutchfield.

They didn't make a 5x7/6x8 that would fit right in w/o modification??

Did the 2002 models have 6x9's? Have to check out my dad's truck tomorrow. cheif Long as your happy is all that matters. But might I suggest coming and chatting here before your next audio purchase.

 

i knew they wouldn't fit before i bought them. wasnt wanting huge bass. they produce crisp highs and mids sound great. had the amp lying around with enough of a wiring kit to put it in so i said why not. plus it takes 17 watts to push these speakers and they can handle 150 watts.

the 02s came stock with 5x7s but regular 6x9s fit. ive got 5x7 blaupunkts up front.
