4 JL 102 3v 2's in a Lightning

IM in the process of drawing out a box to put 4 10's in my L. My Q is i have only got enough room to get .53 of air space thats ater i subtracted the actual wood thickness. Is this enough fo a sub designed for .6-.9 airspace? That also brings up next Q will i be better off with 3 of the same 10's with more airspace like .70 airspace?

sealed = go for it. with a sealed box you could be way off and it would still work

Don't forget that each sub displaces volume also. This will probably make your calculations even further off. What is the recommended enclosure volume for your sub .6 - .9? It might be fine in an enclosure that small. But bigger is usually better at least in my experiences... and I wanna see pics too!

I had one at .75 in my truck. 3 would be crazy sealed. Have you thought about just porting two at about 1.5 cubic feet. I've been contimplating that. How come you never see know big ported boxes in L's. Everyone does multiple subs?
