Long distance assistance

Anyone in South Raleigh/ Garner that wouldn’t mind checking out a Craigslist car for me?

What's hiding behind the cover on the rear driver's side is the question of the day... the CL seller is obviously trying to hide something. Probably rear end damage.

I emailed the seller. States never in a wreck. Says they’ve owned it last 21 years... They also sent me a few pictures and it looks like it was repainted, brown under the white. They just updated the price from $2500 to $2000. If it’s a straight car, other than the seized engine... I don’t think 2k is too bad..
I would hate to drive 10 hours to find it’s a basket case.

Certainly a project car, for sure.

Yeah, as long as the frame is straight, and there isn't too-too much wrong, then go for it.

But, I'm with you, having someone else look at it is key.

There are people you can pay $100-200 to go there and "certify" their findings. Then again, that adds to the cost...

I would pay a fee like that.

This came up with a brief Google search. Might be worth doing some research and see if they are someone you can trust. And if they will do older cars too.
