Hey guys,

Due to the bad weather meet that was supposed to be Feb 16th and 17th at Barnwell, Has been moved to March 1st. The place looks really cool on the internet. Lots of four wheelin areas. I saw a meet on Youtube with the Houston Landrover chapter. Some of the guys are bringing ATV's and dirt bikes. The meet is scheduled around noon on Saturday. Bring camping and whatever else you think that you may need.

For some reason, the Barnwell website is down. It is located in Glimer, just north of Longview. We have guys from Houston, Louisiana, and Oklahoma attending, not just DFW and North Texas.

 

Mine was up first.

Oh well, happy camping.

I was talking about him, not his sister. Scott tells me he is a handsome man, and has a love for Art, Music, and cutting hair...

 

I'll put it on my calendar as well. I actually ended up working last weekend, so this works out better for me. I've always wanted to go to Gilmer. Do we need to reserve a camping site or just rough it?

I think I may just sleep in my truck. Its big and pretty comfy. Anyone bringing a grill of some sort? What are the plans for dinner?

 

Bring it, and cook it. This according to Scott who has been there before. He says that we will be roughing it.

 

Scott says there is no need for a reservation. Yeah, appearantly we will be roughing it. Sounds like fun, a different fun than the Hilton...

 

Yeah its a bit rough, but not too bad. Get a fire going and break out the cold ones. I plan to drink enough I wont care where I'm sleeping. I usually just toss a sleeping bag in the bed and sleep under the stars

 

Are there any fishing holes around there? I'd like to go fishing.
