Raptor tails on 2009 stx

So is 2009 the only year that these raptor tails wont fit on? I have a 2009 stx and all the part websites are saying the raptor tails won’t fit.

Have any of you had success installing them on an ‘09?

The gen'1 Raptor (2010-2014) taillights fit all gen'12 F-150s (2009-2014) and are seamlessly plug-and-play.

e.g. Installed on my previous 2009 STX ...
