ABS and Brake dash lights

My 2008 F150 only has 15K miles on it. When I changed tires on it, the ABS and Brake lights came on and stay on. Local dealership says it is about a $2,000 repair. I’m not so sure about the diagnosis. Mileage is so little cause I have leukemia and don’t drive very much.

Ask the dealer what codes they retrieved when they diagnosed it? Or was this an over the phone quote? If it happened immediately after installing new tires, there may be a possibility that the one of the sensors at a wheel was disturbed or damaged.

Thanks, I should have done that. I guess I was stunned by the cost quoted. I do it tomorrow. Thanks again.

I agree with Roadie, it's probably a sensor or loose wire. $2k seems rather steep.
