Blower Not Working 2009 F150 XL

Hello Everyone. I had an issue with my blower (heater right now since it is winter). It is manual climate control. It would work for a few minutes, then shut off. It did this for a week or two. Now, doesn’t turn on at all. Tried hot and cold and all speeds. I replaced both the blower motor and the resistor. Power is getting to the blower just fine. I can hear some sort of door open or something similar to an actuator when I turn the climate control on and off. The fuse in the engine compartment for the blower appears to be fine as well (also still getting power). But still the motor is not turning on. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Check for an open ground between both the resistor and the switch in the EMTC module. Black wire at both connectors.

Thank you. What would an “open ground” consist of?

Loose, corroded, etc.

With no power applied, the grounds should show zero ohms between the two connectors and chassis ground. Note: Do NOT attempt to check resistance in a circuit that has power applied, you will let the magic smoke out of your multimeter.

Thank you. I will try this. And I should pull off the dash to expose the wires behind the switch, yes?
