2006 f150 won’t start

Will turn over and act like it will start then doesn’t. One day it just quit while driving up a hill. Lost power and died. I’ve changed fuel pump because there was a leak problem in the bed and it was rusted out. So I know it’s getting fuel. But I’ve been told it my cam phasers. Also been told it could be a computer problem. And I don’t know enough myself to tell. I’ve checked codes but battery goes dead very fast and then when I charge it up I don’t get any codes. It’s a brand new battery also. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Check the FPDM for corrosion. It's on the frame above the spare tire, the backside rots out.

You need to actually test for spark and fuel injectors firing. See if any local parts stores have a set of noid lights and a spark tester for rent or loan. Have you checked all applicable fuses and relays?

If your battery goes dead fast, it sounds like you have a short somewhere.

Might be time to get a pro involved.
