Hello all. I finally purchased my first truck and I'm loving it...now. I went all out too. Got me a new 2018 F-150 Platinum 4X4 w/ some extras. I added, "now" after mentioning I'm loving my truck because I too was experiencing irregular transmission shifting. Knowing that Chevy had a hand in on the development of the new 10-speed transmission, I was somewhat skeptical. One of the main reasons I moved forward with the purchase is because the dealer offered a lifetime powertrain warranty. As for the irregular shifting issues I was experiencing, mainly going from 7th to 8th, I took the truck back to the dealer at about 7,500 miles (last month) and they did an update. Now I'm no longer having any issues. Hopefully, the update permanently took care of my issues. Good luck to the rest of you and Happy Holidays.
