I got a 03 f150 with the 4.6 and all of the sudden my cruise control went out. I installed a aftermarket stereo and subs shortly before if that helps.

 

Has it had the recall done? If so, disconnect the recall harness and check it for continuity, it has an inline fuse. If it's blown or the recall has not been done, change the disconnect switch and harness.


Also, check the main cruise control fuse. Location is in the owner's manual.

I suggest if this hasn't been done, is to get it done ASAP.

You don't want your truck and your possessions to go up in flames.

 

As far as I know my truck has had them done. And wiring looks good

 

The wiring may "look" good, but have you tested the inline fuse in the recall harness for continuity, and also checked the main cruise control fuse?

 

Yes I have, its for sure getting power
