5.4 in 95 f150 ext 4x4

Ok ive got a 95 ext 4x4 5.8 thats in desprite need of a motor plus front and rear axle rebuild and have a buddy with a 99 ext 5.4 4x4 that needs a motor that i can get for practically free and also know where theres a 5.4 that i can get for less than 400 bucks and also know where theres a 02, 03 and 04 navigator for cheap with the 4v 5.4s so question is what would it entail to swap my body to the 99 frame? Both trucks are ext cab both are 4x4 I know ill need to fab my own body mounts and swap over the cab/engine wiring harness from the newer truck into my truck and instrument panel etc.....Fab work is not an issue and i know its not going to be a weekend project and its going to be one of those projects that im gonna be ***** deep in for an unknown amount of time.

Im mainly just looking for helpful/knowledgeable advice and dont need any high n mighty armchair naysayers chiming in. I can get donor truck plus four different 5.4s for way less than a 5.8 master rebuild kit and not have to deal with this junk arcaic 8mpg 5.8 and wore slap out running gear anymore (I love 5.8s just not this one) Main questions are whats the biggest difference in the two frames as far as length width and wheelbase? Would it be any easier to just stuff the 5.4/tranny/transfer case/wiring harness in the 95 frame? If you was doing this would you do the cab swap or just engine/trans/tcase and harness?

Basically what this member did just with the 5.4/ 4v 5.4 instead of the 4.slow......https://www.f150online.com/forums/pr...gle-turbo.html
P.S. im not rebuilding replacing and/or spending another dime on a pushrod anything even tho i really do love them and have been around them all my life upuntill i got my first 99 f150 back in 2012 which has over 600,000 miles and smokes knocks rattles and chatters only runs on 7 cylinders on a good day and 4-5 cylinders most other days and still gets better mileage than this garbage 5.8.

Anything can be done with enough time, knowledge, and of course money.

Like i said ill have less than 500 dollars in this regardless of how i go so thats not an issue and all fab work will be free from a good buddy of mine and i can do the rest.....although if i put the newer drive train in my truck ill probally have to have two drive shafts made and i may or may not have to buy some prebent exhaust elbows depending on what i can reuse and or find laying around but either way i cant rebuild nor add any performance goodies the 5.8 for the same or less than what i can do the swap with.

Ok got the 99 f150 and was told the rear axle had been gutted and the parts that was put back in it was bad and that the front axle was also shot but transmission and transfer case along with everything else was good. Wiring harness dash etc is all there so im just goin to put motor trans tcase in my body. Motor in it is shot which is why it was parked but ive got my hands on a 98 5.4 with low miles and im also in the works of getting a couple of dohc navigator 5.4s.
