Hey, give that A/C compressor clutch a once over too, make sure it didn't lock up as well

My belt shredded when the lower idler pulley seized up. That was no fun, I was cruising on I-80 somewhere in eastern Nebraska. Had to get towed in to the Ford dealer in Lincoln.

About 3 years ago I was driving a rental when the A/C compressor decided to take a dump. Ate the serpentine up so bad, the it got hung up around the power steering pulley and with tied it self up around the crankshaft, and yanked the whole pump off the block. Got pictures some where...

Glad my hand or arm wasn't in there when it happened...
