So how do I make mr. 700w sony louder

So I'm pretty dissatisfied with how loud the sony system is in my 13. I think it sounds pretty good just not loud. 3/4 and max vol are basically the same. The bose in my 2003 gmc is better then this. Anyway to help this thing out without replacing everything?

Add a Rockford T2500 mono amp, 2 farad cap, with a ported sub box, and 2x JL13w7s in a 3 ohm config. All with 0 gauge wire, Monster cable, and a 300amp H/O alternator.

That config will shake up the next county over when you play your beats...

Ok that's great for subs but what about the quiet interiors that would surely be drowned out from that set up.

Depending on what you want, you can spend 150 bucks or 2500 bucks. If higher volume and sound quality are what you are after then you will need to spend the money to have it. I have a 7,300 watt RMS ground pounding stereo but It's far from a budget build. To do everything in High quality and not Ebay knock off stuff you can easily spend a 2.50 a watt to 6.00 a watt in a complete stereo. That means, stereo, wire, speakers, amplification, alternator, power cells or hybrid caps. There is alot of stuff involved in a quality audio system. It just depends on what you want and what you are willing to spend or what you can afford.

The only thing I can suggest, and it's going to be a trial-by-error basis, but get a small cheap amp, and wire it in to your current setup.

Problem is... I have a feeling it is the limitation of your speakers.

I know in my F150, my Pioneer has more power than my speakers can handle. One of these days I am going to upgrade the door speakers. But for now I live with it.
