Thank you. When I was driving today, I was accelerating, instead of shifting into (3rd I imagine) rpms just shot up. I have had no slipping. I switched off O/D. I only can go 30-40 mph in 1st and 2nd. I stays in 2nd. Would it be my shift solenoid?

Is the OD light flashing? Might have code in the transmission that can help narrow down what you're needing to repair

trans will need a rebuild ... either the direct clutch has failed, the splines on the direct drum have stripped or the intermediate shaft has broken.
