Horn volume
The horn on my 2014 Supercrew is just plain weak. The dealer checked it and says it's fine, translation: they honked the horn and it made a noise. However, my wife's Escape horn is a lot louder and my old '09 F150 was louder still.
Does anyone have this issue, and have you found a good replacement?
One that isn't an air-horn.
thanks

Check the local laws. Sometimes there are rules about what horns or whistles can be used. Waay back, my friend put a whistle on his old 50 Plymouth. It was connected to the intake and would use the manifold vacuum when you opened it to make a whistle. My friend was having a good time whistling at girls when he got pulled over and got a ticket for an illegal whistle or horn. Turned out the law stated that an exhaust horn was illegal but he didn't fight it. He should have since it was an intake whistle.
I really identify with the movie "American Graffitti" because that is how I remember my teenage years in the small town I grew up in.
