Exclamation ford f150 350 small block swap

Hello I have a 2006 ford F-150 4.2L V6 with almost 150,000 miles, I love the truck and I've put a lot of time and money into it but motor isn't very powerful and is about 12 years old the engine bay says it'll fit a 5.4L V8 but I pretty much have a turn key chevy 350 small block without the wiring harness and some computer stuff and I was wanting to drop the 350 in my ford since I already have the engine and wouldn't need to buy too much stuff for it but will it even fit or be possible to begin with, I will need tranny and drive shaft but other then that would I need custom motor mounts or anything special or too expensive to do that but the big question is it even worth it for the money it will need to run please let me know

Thank you for your answers I appreciate them a lot

With all due respect, that sounds like a crazy project to me. Computers control everything these days and the wiring/electronic issues that would cause would make an expert mechanic commit suicide. Trade it for an 3.5L ecoboost or 5.0L if you want more power.

thank you but I was looking to supercharge the engine at one point but I think this engine is almost through its life span so I wound rather get a new engine before I force some boost in it and blow it up and be out 2-3 grand and out of a truck

Some of those 4.2L engines go twice as far as yours has gone.
