burning smell from vents 2015 F150 5.0
My 2015 F150 Lariat developed a burning electrical smell from the vents. Only happens when heat is on and at idle. Goes away when driving. Can also smell odor on drivers side under the hood.
Please help!!!!

Have you taken it in to get checked out?? or get a lazer thermometer and see if you can localize a hot spot

I haven't brought it to the dealer because they usually tell me they can't duplicate the problem.
I'll try the laser thermometer . I hadn't thought of that. Thanks.
