Does anyone know if the 2018 F150 LED fog lights can be added to a 2016 F-150 that has regular fog lights? I know that Ford sells an accessory kit for the 2015-2017 F-150s that adds LED fog lights, but I don't like the look of the accessory kit. I think the 2018 LED fog lights look much better. The 2018 LED light assemblies are available for order from Ford Parts for about $190 each. I'm not sure if the wiring plugs are the same or not. Anyone tried to do this?

I hadn't seen those before. I will check them out, thanks for sharing. I would prefer OEM lights, but if I can't get them to work then I will consider these. I haven't seen a 2018 up close yet to know if they are identical. I know they made some changes to the front grill and bumper, but can't tell from pictures if the fog lights are the same.

 

The Morimoto's have gotten good reviews from what I have heard. After going the ebay route and getting some cheap LED bulbs I went with Diode Dynamics LED's and replaced the fog bulbs in mine. Color match was perfect and light output improved.

 

I did the same for my 2015 F-150 Lariat. The Diode Dynamics LED fog bulbs have great light output and match up perfectly w/ my OEM LED headlights. Very happy with them...

 

Is the fitment the exact same? I used American muscle and bought some raxiom supposed "OEM" replacements and while I love the brightness the teeth or so much smaller than the I OEM builds that came with the truck. They swore up and down it's the correct model but I am not too thrilled.

The OEM LED fog lights on the 2018 F150`s are the same as the OEM LED fog lights that are on the 2017 and newer SuperDuty Platinum and yes, the`ll bolt right in place.

You can go on eBay and look for a used pair or purchase a new pair from various Ford dealers.

 

Will they work on a 2016 Platinum? I believe the fog light housings on the 2015-17 F150s are the same, right?

 

I installed a set of aftermarket LED bulbs in my truck. The lights looks brighter looking at it over the stock halogens but from inside the cab, the halogens seems to throw more light.
