pin removal on trailer harness

Hey all,

The ground wire broke on my factory 7-pin trailer wiring harness, right at the inlet to the back side of the 7-pin plug.

I've disconnected the harness from the backside of the trailer connector, but can't seem to figure out how to remove the pin? Any ideas?

Thanks!

In case anyone is ever interested, dealer said I need to replace the harness, pins are not serviceable. I can't see how that's possible, but what do I know

I'm sure YOU could do it, but it's not a task a dealership would be willing to do. It WOULD take a bit of "fiddling" I think.

Did you try this site?

Try the 7 pin connector page. The pins do come out. You have to study it and then use small tool to pull the lock piece out.
