ac Problems

Hello all, I'm having some ac problems that started out odd and just keep getting more strange. it started when I hit the gas driving the air would move from normal vents to defrost. Then it started from normal vents to the floor. Now it wont even activate the max ac setting... it blows cold out the proper vent until you put a load on the engine. I've replaced the check valve and looked for leaks but haven't found any vacuum leaks. any advice would be appreciated!

almost forgot to mention for a 96 f150 xlt with 5.0l

Keep looking for your vacuum leak, you just haven't found it yet.
