MAF Sensor Cleaning Mistake

I was cleaning my throttle body on my 03 5.4 today, and the maf sensor. Not paying attention like an idiot I grabbed the crc throttle body by mistake and sprayed the maf sensor with it. After I realized what I did I sprayed the maf cleaner on it to get the othe stuff off of it.

What does that throttle cleaner do to the sensor? Is there a coating on the maf sensor wires or will the throttle cleaner break the wires. It ran well, with no check engine light coming on.

If it runs okay with no codes, you should be okay.

Have you ever changed one out. Looks like you have the 4.2. On the 5.4 its on the load side of the air cleaner. I looked at it and don't know exactly how it comes out of the air cleaner housing?

No, I clean mine in place and it's still original.
