Dog Pee On Tires
I just bought my brand spankin new 04 F150SCXLT back in September 04. I am constantly wiping the brake dust off, as all of you have experienced, and now my neighbors have a new boy dog. This dog is WETTING MY TIRES I have tried to talk to my neighbors but to no avail.
My question is this: Is dog pee bad for my rims and tire or am I just being a gun? Thanks for any responses and I LOVE MY TRUCK!!!!!

Years ago I worked for an a$$hole with two big dogs. Every day one of them would **** on all four of my tires. Boss man acted like it was no biggie and he even made fun of me for setting buckets in front of my wheels so his mutt wouldn't wet my truck. This was my first of many disagreements with idiots and their mutts.
So in my experience, dog owners typically will side with their worthless crap factories over your personal property. Call animal control on them and keep calling until the owners get the law on their backs. I don't care if it hurts your wheels or not, it isn't tolerable IMHO.

Dog urine is very acidic and if left on the wheels for any length of time could eventually destroy the clear-coated finish on aluminum rims I'd say try speaking to your neighbor again and if that fails call animal control, I'm sure there is some sort of leash law in your town/county and if his dogs are on your property they obviously aren't under the control of a leash.

Solution to Dog peeing on wheels
Go to your local farm supply store, purchase an Electric fencer. This is the unit farmers use to electrify fences to keep animals in.
Hook this unit to the truck. The truck is sitting on tires, but when the Dog pee's he will be in for a big surprise. A few times of this might teach the dog to go someplace else. We used to do this back in the early seventies and it worked great!
