Hood and Tonneau Intalled (pics)

Hey guys. I just got my A.R.E. tonneau cover and my Pro Glass Shaker Hood. Thanks to Mark at LFP for the hood!! Anyways, I thought I'd share the pics with everyone. Now I just need to update my signature.

Get in touck with Mark at www.lightningforceperformance.com and tell him that I sent you and he should take care of you. You could also try the supporting vender forums over on NLOC, as he has a forum over there. He has always been helpful and I'm sure he will not dissapoint you.

How was the installation? Did you do it yourself? Is the shaker functional, and if so, how does it handle rain and washing? I really like that hood and am thinking about doing it someday.

Yes, the hood is functional. The scoop works with the hood when closed to deliver air to the 12 inch cone filter. It will not work with the stock box.
It is fine for rain and washing. The way it is setup ,it would be almost impossible for water to get to the filter much less the motor.I have washed and driven in the rain with NO PROBLEM.
