Question to Doug or Steve.

Hey this is SVT F15O(Mat). Well my brother decided to make SN for himself(this one) and now I can't seem to log off of his to name to sign back on to mine. I made the mistake and already posted once with this name and it says I can't delete it now>??? Is there a reason for that>??? I have clicked the log out button several times to no avail. Thanks, Mat

Hey this is Doug. Looks like the same thing has happened to me. I don't know what in the heck we're going to do.

Steve, you want to chime in on this one?

This is Steve. There have been no reports of users logging on and being "forced" to a different username. I don't know what you are talking about. Are you a Mac user?

yer pal,

Webmaster Steve.

Fun is fun, but since you really have a problem....

My guess is that your brother set up his ID with different settings than you did. Since you are Whitetrash SVT for the purposes of this logon you can change that. Click on the user cp button on the top of the page and select Edit Options. I suspect he clicked YES to all the Cookie settings. Change them to NO, save your profile, and attempt to logout. You should get a All Cookies Have Been Successfully Cleared message. Then go to the main forums page and scroll to the bottom and log on as SVT 150 with your password.

Good Luck!

HaHa, well I am back home at the comfort of my home PC, he did this on our work PC. I will have to try it again 2morrow. I had already changed on the "cookie" settings in the options box. It still would not log out. Looks like it may be time to delete all the cookies from the PC and start over again. Oh well, I am glad I was able to be of amusement to both of you. -Mat-

I was soooooo tempted to build a new logon and screen name (Webmister?Webmuster?Masterweb?) and answer the question, but I figured that would only be funny until the real Steve saw it.

Glad you won the $50. Go buy yourself something nice.

It's really odd that you guys are having this problem... Everytime I log in it thinks I'm 01 XLT Sport

lifeguardjoe

No, wait a minute... I'm not going to be Joe after that image of him in Speedos... ewww... lol

As bad as it is, I'm going to stick with 01 XLT Sport....

Kind of cool...
