Help! 8.8 posi is stiff after rebuild

I installed new clutch packs in a 2004 f150. I got everything back in the diff the spider gears turned back into place but when I got rotate one axle it's like a welded rear end? The other side won't rotate in the opposite direction and instead of the spider gears spinning the whole different spins? Any help or answers would be appreciated!

Did you soak the clutch packs in friction modifier overnight before installing? Did you use synthetic 75W140 with friction modifier in the diff?

I think it's supposed to work that way. When you drive it, does it chatter? Does it lock up when you step harder on the gas?

You don't soak them in 75W140, you soak them in friction modifier, and you add friction modifier to the 75W140 when you fill up the diff.
