So I wanted to see if anyone else has had this issue. I have a 2006 F150 I recently put some LED headlight's and fog lights in my truck. At first I had the simple issue of the high beam signal being dimly lit okay I got a set of canbus led module's that took car of that problem. But now when I have fog lights on and I switch to high beams and then back to low beams they get stuck on high and I have to turn the fog lights off to reset them but if I keep the fog lights off everything function's normally. If anyone has had this issue and fixed it let me know what you did

 

Looks up the Bambi mod. You're going to grounding out a relay on the fuse panel to bleed off the excess power coming back from your fogs.
What LEDs do you have? Not to be a dink but more than likely they are glaring and blinding oncoming traffic. 99% of LEDs headlight bulbs end up with horrible output and glare. Only ones I trust are the ones 4x4truckLEDs sells on here, because a buyer of his product did a review showing their output.

 

I have an 07, with LED lamps I bought off amazon.com. No problem, whatsoever.

That's not a problem for me. I don't have to look at them.

Actually, it's the camera. Camera lens technology varies. I used a crappy cell phone camera.

I live in The City. If there was a problem with the lighting on a lifted truck, I would have gotten a ticket by now.

Don't worry it'll be your problem when you drive someone off the road or into a head on collision with you.
And no probably not cops have bigger things to worry about than some Dumba** blinding everyone he drives by... And it's not just the picture. I saw your other post with output shots. You're lighting up the whole back end that ranger or whatever was on front of you.
But hey f*ck everyone else right? Whatever happened to common courtesy. Or respect for others.

If I were him, I'd box them up and ship them back to Amazon for a refund ASAP!

 

like to know more bout the bambi mod haing the fog light issue with my 2004 . what a good led to recommend with no light issues

 

what brand lights are those ? do the work with the fog lites or do they not come back on also when use high beam

 

ok another question now . why that is i use my driving/fog lights it throws my led headlights into high beam

And it's as simple as grounding out one of the Spade terminals on a relay in the fuse box. Not 100% sure which one. I did it awhile back.

 

but now if driving lites on it is in high beam. so dont want to ground them on i wouldn't think

 

Look up Bambi mod, it's made specifically for when you run your fogs and your high beams stick on when you do HIDs or LEDs.
Once you do the Bambi mod you can run your headlights and fogs at the same time without sticky high beams. And your fog lights will stay on the whole time.. Until you turn them off.
